South Dakota was recorded in 2021 in the midst of the Covid Lockdowns and is a solo acoustic live in-studio affair recorded with a bunch of tube gear from the 1960’s and to 2” analog tape at co-producer Casey Diiorio’s Valve Studios in Dallas. From the outset the goal was to make a beautifully honest and raw record and capture it with minimal production and with the highest fidelity. The result is a record that was made to be heard on wax and now that things have finally settled down a bit we are excited to finally make the vision a reality!
